RETIREMENT PLAN COMMITTEE ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT AND MEMBERSHIP PLACEMENT PROCESS

目的

To ensure the effective operation of the Retirement Plan Committee by maintaining active participation from all members.

过程

  1. 参加要求:

    Committee members recommended by the Retirement Plan Committee and approved by the 校董会 are expected to attend all scheduled meetings.

  2. 缺乏政策:

    If a committee member misses two consecutive committee meetings without an unavoidable reason, the committee may vote to replace the member.

    不可避免的原因包括但不限于：

    • 严重疾病或医疗紧急情况

    • 直系亲属死亡或患重病

    • 自然灾害或者其他重大突发事件

    • 必要的专业义务

  3. 删除过程:

    The committee may vote to recommend the replacement of a member who misses two consecutive meetings without an unavoidable reason. The member, after receiving a letter and/or an email, will have the option to resign if his/her schedule no longer allows him/her to be present at meetings before a majority vote by their fellow members is required to proceed with a replacement member.

  4. 替换过程:

    Upon recommending the replacement of a member, the committee must identify and recommend a new member by a simple majority vote.

    All new member recommendations must be submitted to and approved by the 校董会 before being appointed to the committee.
