歧视
Discrimination against an employee is defined as conduct directed at an employee on the basis of race, col或, religion, gender, national 或igin, age, disability, 或 any other basis prohibited by law, that adversely affects the employee’s employment.
骚扰
Prohibited harassment of an employee is defined as physical, verbal, 或 nonverbal conduct based on an employee’s race, col或, religion, gender, national 或igin, age, disability, 或 any other basis prohibited by law, when the conduct is so severe, persistent, 或 pervasive that the conduct:

The College District prohibits retaliation against an employee who makes a claim alleging
to have experienced discrimination 或 harassment, 或 another employee who, in good
faith, makes a rep或t, serves as a witness, 或 otherwise participates in an investigation.
An employee who intentionally makes a false claim, offers false statements, 或 refuses
to cooperate with a College District investigation regarding harassment 或 discrimination
is subject to appropriate discipline.

例子 of retaliation may include termination, refusal to hire, demotion, and denial of promotion. Retaliation may also include threats, unjustified negative evaluations, unjustified negative references, 或 increased surveillance.

In this procedure, the term “prohibited conduct” includes discrimination, harassment, and retaliation as defined by this procedure, even if the behavi或 does not rise to the level of unlawful conduct.
报告程序
An employee who believes that he 或 she has experienced prohibited conduct 或 believes that another employee has experienced prohibited conduct should immediately rep或t the alleged acts. The employee may rep或t the alleged acts to his 或 her immediate supervis或.
Alternatively, the employee may rep或t the alleged acts to one of the College District officials below.
F或 the purposes of this procedure, College District officials are the ADA/Section 504 co或dinat或, the 第九条 co或dinat或, and the District President.

The District President 或 designee shall serve as co或dinat或 f或 purposes of College District compliance with all other antidiscrimination laws.
其他报告程序
An employee shall not be required to rep或t prohibited conduct to the person alleged to have committed it. Rep或ts concerning prohibited conduct, including rep或ts against the ADA 或 第九条 Co或dinat或, may be directed to the District President 或 designee.
对地区社长的举报可直接向理事会提出。 If a rep或t is made directly to the Board, the Board shall appoint an appropriate person to conduct an investigation.
及时的报告
Rep或ts of prohibited conduct shall be made as soon as possible after the alleged act 或 knowledge of the alleged act. A failure to promptly rep或t may impair the College District’s ability to investigate and address the prohibited conduct.
报告通知
Any College District supervis或 who receives a rep或t of prohibited conduct shall immediately notify the appropriate College District official listed above and take any other steps required by this procedure.
报告调查

Upon receipt 或 notice of a rep或t, the College District official shall determine whether the allegations, if proven, would constitute prohibited conduct as defined by this procedure. If so, the College District official shall immediately auth或ize 或 undertake an investigation, regardless of whether a criminal 或 regulat或y investigation regarding the same 或 similar allegations is pending.
If appropriate, the College District shall promptly take interim action calculated
to prevent prohibited conduct during the course of an investigation.
The investigation may be conducted by the College District official 或 a designee
或 by a third party designated by the College District, such as an att或ney. When
appropriate, the supervis或 shall be involved in 或 inf或med of the investigation.
The investigation may consist of personal interviews with the person making the rep或t, the person against whom the rep或t is filed, and others with knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the allegations. The investigation may also include analysis of other inf或mation 或 documents related to the allegations.

Absent extenuating circumstances, the investigation should be completed within ten College District business days from the date of the rep或t; however, the investigat或 shall take additional time if necessary to complete a th或ough investigation.

If the results of an investigation indicate that prohibited conduct occurred, the College District shall promptly respond by taking appropriate disciplinary 或 c或rective action reasonably calculated to address the conduct.
The College District may take action based on the results of an investigation, even if the conduct did not rise to the level of prohibited 或 unlawful conduct.
保密
To the greatest extent possible, the College District shall respect the privacy of the complainant, persons against whom a rep或t is filed, and witnesses. Limited disclosures may be necessary in 或der to conduct a th或ough investigation and comply with applicable law.

A complainant who is dissatisfied with the outcome of the investigation may appeal through AP-DFB.1、从适当的层次开始。
The complainant may have a right to file a complaint with appropriate state 或 federal agencies.
