该基金会成立于1974年，前身为德州中部教育研究公司。 1989年正式更名为皇冠博彩基金会。 The 基金会 is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt entity and works as the philanthropic arm of 皇冠博彩 to seek additional resources beyond state and local appropriations.
Resources for the 基金会 are primarily provided through individual donations, corporate donations, and grants.
Each year, the 基金会 holds three fundraisers to enhance the scholarship opportunities for 皇冠博彩 students. “Dancing For Our Stars” provides education benefits to students at the Navarro campus. Brilliance provides scholarships to students in Ellis County and Legacy assists students in Freestone, Leon, and Limestone Counties.
Through the support received by the community, the 皇冠博彩基金会 has awarded over $200,000 each year in scholarships. The 基金会 has also been instrumental in providing resources for building projects such as dormitory halls, the Cook Education Center, and most recently the Hunters and Gatherers of the Blackland Prairie exhibit. In addition, the 基金会 provides support to the 皇冠博彩 faculty through Teaching Excellence Awards and the purchase of instructional equipment.

The mission of the 皇冠博彩基金会 is to assist 皇冠博彩 in providing the human and financial resources to meet present and future educational needs of the College’s five-county service area. Furthermore, the 基金会 Board fosters educational excellence and exemplary community service to enhance the quality of life among students and staff at 皇冠博彩, as well as to seek and find financial capital and gifts-in-kind beyond the state and local appropriations. These resources allow the College and its staff to increase the quality of service, enhance the educational experience gained by students at 皇冠博彩, and reach out to the larger community to provide cultural, workforce development, and life-long learning programs.
