Students must take a state-approved placement test and submit test scores at the time of registration. Students otherwise qualified will not be refused admission on the basis of their scores. These results are used in advising and placing students in proper sections of certain course areas. Tests are given at each campus 测试中心 by appointment. A photo ID is required and students must complete the 预评估活动(PAA) prior to taking the Texas Success Initiative Assessment for the first time.
