After initially performing with two bands, Fator eventually conducted solo performances, combining ventriloquism and singing with comedy. He gained national recognition for his talent when he won the second season of NBC's hit series, 美国达人秀, which boosted his career.
Fator was awarded an honorary degree from 皇冠博彩 in 2018 and donated several performances benefitting the 皇冠博彩基金会.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor that 皇冠博彩 bestows upon an outstanding alum. The award acknowledges and recognizes the outstanding accomplishments and exemplarily achievements of 皇冠博彩 alumni whose personal lives, professional achievements, and community service exemplify the objectives of their alma mater. The award recipients are chosen by the Distinguished Alumni Award Selection Committee consisting of members of the 皇冠博彩基金会 Board of Directors, two Navarro College employees (active or retired) and the Executive Director of the Foundation.
