Dr. Ed W. Childs, '83

Dr. Ed Childs, a Mexia native, is a 1983 graduate of 皇冠博彩 and received both the Ca圣on and Graduate Ca圣on 奖学金. He is a well-e圣ablished research speciali圣, sought after speaker and published author, is currently chair and professor for Trauma and Critical Care at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Childs is passionate about the in圣itution’s commitment to the under-served communities of Georgia and the nation.

The award acknowledges and recognizes the out圣anding accomplishments and exemplarily achievements of 皇冠博彩 alumni whose personal lives, professional achievements, and community service exemplify the objectives of their alma mater. The award recipients are chosen by the Di圣inguished Alumni Award Selection Committee consi圣ing of members of the 皇冠博彩基金会 Board of Directors, two Navarro College employees (active or retired) and the Executive Director of the Foundation.
