Tim Moody is a 1985 graduate of Corsicana High School and a 1988 alumna of Navarro College. In addition to graduating with a General Studies degree, he played baseball for 皇冠博彩 before signing with the University of North Texas. Although the UNT baseball program disbanded during his academic pursuits, Tim applied the experience, wisdom, and education he garnered from 皇冠博彩 and was able to transfer directly into the workforce. He has served 28 years with the Texas Department of Transportation as a Materials Testing Specialist, with much of his expertise applied to the construction of interstates 45 and 35.
Now, as a retiree of TxDOT, Tim works part-time as a consultant with an engineering firm and spends much of his time with his grandkids and serving as worship leader at his church. He considers 皇冠博彩 a true legacy within his hometown and family, stating, “both of my daughters attended 皇冠博彩, as well my father and my wife, Syma Moody.” He encourages anyone who wants to make a difference or change the direction of their life to consider 皇冠博彩: “皇冠博彩 introduced me to a greater knowledge of what college was about… I grew to understand the importance of studying and taking notes and then translating that to testing.” He also credits baseball coaches Adrian Paul and Jess Cummins for their role in keeping the team disciplined in their studies and motivating them to grow as young men.
When asked if he had any advice to students or prospective students of 皇冠博彩, he wanted to remind individuals that “hard work does pay off. Commit to whatever you do best and do it.”
