My favorite event of the year is graduation- it is always exciting to see students through their goals and lead them into their future. It’s enjoyable when they stop back by and let me know their progress- makes me so proud! Just yesterday a former student stopped in with her son who graduated high school and I couldn’t believe it- I remember him when he was just a baby and now he is over 6′ tall and starting college.”
学生- go to class, get to know your professors, appreciate the opportunity to learn and take college seriously! I also believe you should talk to older members of your family- some of the things you can learn from them you won’t find in a book.
学生 from other colleges who are visiting or have transferred have even commented on their positive experiences at Navarro as far as accessibility and helpfulness of the people here and that makes me proud.”
My goal is the Traveler’s Century Club- to visit 100 of the world’s countries or territories. 43 ! I enjoy white water rafting, ATV riding, horror movies, board games, poker, and ziplining. My friends would also say I’m obsessed with making lists.”
